Radio-Waves and Health
Are WiFi or Radio-signals bad for our health? Well, people still argue about that, and some people prove that they are not, and some people say opposite.
Finally, I think it wont be fully clear for us, how much negatively it affects on a human, because there are different factors involved in this – you should know physics well, to understand how they work and what they do. Also, you should have taken tests and observations during a long period, to make a decision if it does bad or no. Actually, who knows how much effect it has on a human body? I think, it should be tested among the dozens of years. The era of radio-signals surely begun from the last century, so, it is still not fully tested over a mankind, what role it played in a global health. The time will show more facts.
Advocating the idea of “harmless” theory
Some people try to prove, that the signals has a frequency, that doesn’t make any injure to people, and that argument is reasonable in general. Scientists prove that with numbers, but that is not always easy to understand (for us), because we don’t know those “calculations of harmless coefficients” and etc, so, we have just to “trust” or not to those calculations… However, scientists could seem more reliable in overall, but beware, which “scientist” you refer to – MR. UNKNOWN or someone an experienced scientist.
Criticizing the idea of “harmless” theory
Typical person judges the fact with his mind and says, that “it is impossible that it didn’t have at least a small effect on a human”.. Actually, this statement contains some truth. Human body consists of water mostly, and radio-frequency and signals are absorbed by human body with some percentage. Thus, I still believe that it’s impossible that human body “reflects” or is protected from signals.. However, the question is that, if that absorbed signals are bad for health. Well, that is a subject of scientists, and I can’t answer.
Links to different discussions
There have been quite large discussions about the Radio-Waves, Wi-Fi and Health. I wont list here all blog/wiki articles (you’d better to search for them), but I’ll list here some forum discussions I’ve looked through a while ago and found them interesting (they are quite small answers, read them all):
- Wireless: (if harmful) is a bigger WiFi antenna a bigger health hazard?
- is RADIO-SIGNAL Jammer safe for health?
- Is Wi-Fi harmful to one’s health?
- Am I absorbing radio waves?
- Adverse Health Effects of Strong Radio Waves
You can add your interesting link here (just add it in comments and we will place here). Also, you might find out more on Google, however, the above topics are still interesting.
Should I trust on what is written in Internet?
At first, you should always remember, that dont trust of “internet”. Website and blog authors write/publish articles, that could be subjective, caused by specific interests, marketing or advertising, for which they are paid, and thus, they could be subjective. So, it is sometimes hard to check if something is true or not (even authoritative website publishers make faults quite often). But, in sum, you should read individual experts’ opinions and also the authoritative sources, and then make some decisions.
